12:46PM

So I'm still at school. Finals are over but I'm working with the Reunion staff and am making money instead of being bored at home. I'm missing everyone though and I can't wait to see you all. If you all could comment me with dates you will be away that would be fabulous.

Yesterday afternoon at work was awesome! First the people who were with me were my friends Brianna, James and Roberto who are also working and with Chrissie our boss, who is also my assistant tennis coaches wife. We had to assemble pipes and drapes to fall behind a podium and they didn't give us enough pipes or any stands. So we had to make stands. So we decided to use empty water cooler jugs, pour cement in them and have the pipes stand in them. We had to go to public safety to look for a funnel to pour the cement into the water jug and asked for beer funnels (which they didn't give us) but they gave us a traffic cone. We also rode around fast on the golf cart which we have. It was awesome.

Then last night we sneaked into our theater and watched Dukes of Hazard and a trippy 'The Who' video. Oh and did I mention the cleaning ladies caught us and they were smoking pot inside the building too. Only at WAC...

Anyway I'll be back Sunday so I shall be making plans with all of you when I get back.

1:27PM - *Deep Sigh*

I'm upset today and I don't know why. There are many things that are annoying or troublesome but nothing that should affect me so much. I think I'm upset because summer is here. And how I dislike the idea of being off for so long. I love my friends at college. (not that I don't love my friends at home but there's something sacred about each entity)

So we have our final day of classes in two days. I never thought the semester would come so fast. I love my roommate and all of my friends here. The boy situation has been good and bad, and at this point I don't care because I know I'm not getting a boyfriend any time soon, for the year at least. But my friends are hung up on boys which has taken the last straw, maybe its just because I have no qualms with the opposite sex anymore.

Back to the fun times though. I can't believe our nights of going out, movie watching and random chats are going to end soon. Of course you say you will call each other and that people will make road trips to each other but they will be few and far between. I'm used to seeing this people daily and now it shall be monthly? It just sucks and I have depressed myself. I also can't believe I won't be gossiping as much nor shall I be seeing boys (attractive/cute ones who are my age) every day. That sucks. That is my all-girls-school self talking there lol.

I'm listening to Ace of Base and its such a good CD... it was the second one I ever bought. Good afternoon y'all

11:06PM - "Lets make this last forever"

This has been one of the most amazing weeks ever. It should be on VH1's Best Week ever. It started last thursday when I gave an a great presentation for a class. I was very stressed out about it- but kicked ass. Last Friday, I clinched the match for my tennis team against Muhlenberg securing our number two spot in the conference and out eigth spot in the region! I also went to Outback with the team and my mommy came and gave us all cupcakes. Saturday was amazing! I went to a rugby game, tennis match and partied. I got 41 birthday kisses, saw most of the girls on the tennis team and most of the guys I like! It was a good time! Sunday my parents came, I played tennis with Conor, and my doggy came! I also got presents and my friends here sang happy birthday to me (and got me presents) always a plus. On Monday it was just an overall good day and I was packing. On Tuesday I played tennis, went to a baseball game and went home for the night. Got a lovely shower, ate Chens and found out that I would be in a suite, in the best dorm here, and with my six friends. And I get a single!!!!! Wednesday I became an AMERICAN CITIZEN and saw Shekida (who also became an american citizen)- what are the odds? Then came back yesterday and won a close match... and my friends lauren and sam came. And they were noisy, and obnoxious and I loved it! Today has been wonderfully fun and just a great spring day!

I wonder what will happen next?

11:01AM

So its April and hailing and snowing. Three days ago it was 75 degrees and I was getting tan by playing tennis outside. Weird. I love messed up weather lol.

So recently I've been playing tennis and doing homework. And I've been a little obsessed with facebook but who isn't? We have tons of tennis matches which is good because I shall be seeing Jenny, Stokes and Charity! YAY! But it also means no going out for Lydia on the weekends until her 19th birthday. I'm not that excited for it but I'm sure that shall change. So this weekend my parents are coming down for tennis and they are bringing my doggy! I'm so excited.

I haven't been home since early February and shall not be home until May. We have a match on Easter which means that Lydia will be doing homework on Easter Sunday to catch up.

9:43AM

So spring break with the tennis girls was amazing. Who knew driving to Florida (14 hour car ride) would be so much fun and not that boring? Well not me. We drove down on Saturday and I roomed with Kristen and Rebecca (two freshman). We played tennis the next morning and hung out around the pool. The guys tennis team was also with us the whole time... so they were there at the pool. I got a bathing suit tan the first day. We then played tennis and I went to a baseball game with my Dad. We saw the Braves play the Cardinals, and Jeff Nelson (if you remember him) waved to me and I took pictures of him. It was a good time with my Dad. We then went to Daytona Beach for dinner at the mall and then I chilled with the team. On Tuesday we had two matches and ate at the Stetson University dining hall. They have really good food. We played two matches- one underneath the lights.

On Wednesday we went to Universal Studios. From 9 am till 7:30 at night the girls tennis team was there. We rocked it- and it enjoyed it. lol. So all eight of us stayed together the entire time- and didn't get angry or bored with anyone. We bought express passes so you can jump to the front of the line for each ride. We went on EVERY ride. It was amazing. My two favorites were the Jimmy Neutron 3-D ride and 'The Mummy' ride. There was this pharoah outside of the Mummy with the coolest looking eyes, which scared the hell out of us. There was also this guy who looked like a deformed Mummy inside the lines who kept freaking us all out. We literally ran up the stairs to get away from him. We also went to the beach and to the store 'Ron Jon' which is my new love. I bought a couple shirts and a cute bag. We drove back to Virginia, played a match in which I was really sick for (I threw up). We came back before Saturday night.

Saturday night- some girls on the tennis team watch the recorded tape of the OC we have and then we went over to the tennis guys house because they came back as well. It was enjoyable. Then I was just talking with a few friends who came back early- we gossiped.
Hope everyone else had a great spring break to!

And my final thoughts as I turn on the tv: 1. Why is my TV on the SciFi channel and 2. Why is the soap opera 'Passions' on it?

7:47PM

So Spring Break starts tomorrow...
It's going to be awesome. Even though I'm not going home... I'm going to Florida with the girls and guys tennis teams!!!!

Its going to be crazy. Hard and hot but fun indeed.
So school recently has been a lot of work- I've read at least 10 books and written over 15 papers. I only take four courses (one is a match class)- so figure that out. Tennis has been good. The team is awesome. Hurt myself for two weeks but right now it doesnt hurt. I went 7-0 for the start of the season in singles and doubles. We beat a team that was ahead of us (so obviously we are awesome).

Social life has been eh recently just because so much of my time has been spent doing work and playing tennis. Lots of early mornings. Anyway hope everyone has and/or had a good spring break- I'm sad I won't be back to spend time with you all.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!

Quick Update: College is awesome. Tennis is going well. Fitness isn't too bad. The ice is a pain. I love school and my friends here.

Birthday Ball is less than two weeks away. My mommy sent me a valentines day present and it was all in a huge box- you should be jealous. I wore my hair curly for the first time ever, and my hair began straightening itself... so therefore I will always wear it straight now. I'm going home this weekend to get my hair cut and to have my Mommy do laundry, shhh I swear she likes doing it.

Hugs and Kisses and a nice note from a beanie baby my mommy sent me:
"To me you're unlike any other
So here's a kiss and then another
Next I'll give you a hug or two
Just so you know that I love you!"

3:44PM

Well soon I shall be returning to college. Let me tell you that its going to be interesting moving in again. ick not fun. However sunday night will be fabulous- no homework, great television shows and my lovely ladies! I haven't talked to most wacers for a good three weeks and I don't know why I've been closed off but its alright. I've seen many kpers which is great.

I went back to Kent Place and omg I loved it. Its like you are a celebrity there. Everyone knows you and remembers your name even if you don't. Everyone will hug you... Teachers (who you may or may not have liked at all) are so friendly and want to hear all about college. Ms. Ferguson was the cutest, she asked about the boys and hoped that they were good looking. I do miss some things about Kent Place, but of course college is better and thank god for that because I don't want to be fixated over high school. Anyway, I've also been working which is good. Got to see Kathleen and Tom, but no Jason and Eric. I also have been seeing tons of Morgan and Bobby aka Lil Kid (I've mentioned them before). Fabulous people who will hopefully visit me in college for a good time. It turns out two of my friends that are seniors are applying to my college, which is way weird!!!!!! They might even come visit me, which is always exciting.

Hope you all are enjoying the start of classes/classes in general and do not forget to call me sometime to catch up darlings

8:10AM - Snogging and a Splif

Well I'm back from holiday. I have to say that my love for England grows every time I go back. I wish I could have stayed for longer since everyone there is on holiday and I could have seen more people. England rocks. The flight over was fantastic. One of the guy flight attendants hit on me and was very polite. There were 3 guys flight attendants and I have to say they were hilarious with their English, Welsh and Irish accents. So I've decided that I truly love accents and I will be wooed by any guy who has an accent that I like because OMG! Anyway watched movies on the plane and had a good time. Got back on Christmas Eve/Christmas day to my grandparents. The next morning opened presents, had Christmas dinner and played cards. I became so good at this card game. And being that I come from a family who appears to gamble we played for money- so I won a total of like 2 pounds when there.

I ate all my favorite foods there, shopped, talked to many people with accents (sigh I saw a Colin Farrel look-a-like, a Jon look-a-like named Jeremy, and many other delectable guys). I did not play tennis which sucks but oh well it was the holidays, 3 of them Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years. It was enjoyable. Went to my godmothers who gave me lovely makeup presents since she works for a makeup company, saw my uncles and my other grannie and saw my cousin who is as wonderful as ever. I never understood how much he and I had in common, but he is awesome.

For the last night we stayed with Jane, Ted and Thomas. I love it there. Jane was a school friend of my Mum's, Ted is Jane's husband and Thomas is there grandson. Thomas is 15, a hottie and terribly British. A true British Bloke. The last time I went there I was a hit with him and his friends~ the hot American girl. But we weren't there for too long so I only got to sleep in Thomas's bed and not meet his friends. haha jk He slept in a different room.

Anyway got back last night around 9. I realized that I did not want to go out and celebrate with Robert because that would require a ride from a very tired and grumpy man. And I watched a Knight's Tale to end 2005 and fell asleep. So overall my last day was grueling, long, full of funny movies (monster-in-law and wedding crashers), many laughs, many reasons for why it is time for me to separate from my parents, but delightful despite the aloneness.

Happy 2006 from this jet-lagged girl

12:12PM

So tomorrow morning at 6:15 I shall be leaving to go to England. Normally we fly at night and arrive in England in the morning but now we are leaving here in the morning and arriving late on Christmas Eve/early Christmas Day. You have no idea how mad this makes me. Every Christmas is the same (well since we moved to the US) and now it is totally different. Firstly, I who believe in Santa (in a very mediocre way) will not be asleep by midnight to await for presents in the morning, I will be in England, I will not be spending the day with the Thiele's and also I will be with family. The holidays were always good because my parents and I would open presents and then do our own thing, I would normally watch a Muppet's Christmas Carol to get into the mood more. But now no. I am excited for England but I dislike change so much.

I come back on New Years Eve and currently have no plans for it. I might just crash or I might just celebrate it by myself wishing I was in NYC as I had planned. But there will be no Fall Out Boy, Shakira or Kayne for this girl damn flight is too late.

But in happy happy, not Lydia being depressed news (those holidays I swear they'll kill you), I will not have to get my wisdom teeth out yet for a while (yayness). And the best part of yesterday was that I saw STEVE!!!! You know my hot tennis coach that I love for he is awesome and a great tennis player. And I'm seeing him again today. I love Steve. I was so happy seeing him and the night before when he called me. His hair is shorter now and he is wearing collared shirts. I think its a trend, everyone I used to know guy wise except Robert wears collared shirts now. This is strange because they either disliked the preppy look or it wasn't there thing- but its different now. I think I should get myself a new look guess I'll have to go shopping in the New Year. Anyway ttyl

3:16PM - The Chronicals of Lydia on Break

Ah home is home. Monday through Wednesday I am home alone. Monday was boring until I saw Miss Emily Kwan, for the first time since August. Tuesday was a wonderful, hectic and somewhat like College day. Truly beautiful.
Today so far has been a lovely day of break where I have slept in, watching a Brad Pitt movie, drooled and am now watching Pride and Prejudice. This is how you know you are on break- nothing to do other than watch a movie that is a bajillion hours long. Later I will be playing tennis, hopefully working out, and possibly seeing Robert! I haven't seen him since August either.

This past weekend was okayish. On Saturday I was home for five minutes then went out to play tennis with Danny and Alex, the funny tennis boys, Jess, Jess and Talbot. It was funny but sad because the clinic will not be going on for two weeks. Then went shopping with my dad for my mother and then had Chens. Watched 5 different movies (Spiderman, Ghost Ship, Day After Tomorrow, In Good Company and something else?). Sunday involved me sleeping, watching another movie and getting ready for the Toy Tree Trimming Party. Saw Cam, Clem, Grant and Kitty. I swear each year it is now becoming less entertaning. I talked to a lot of the parents who were happy about me in college, talked to lawyers who were very nice to me (going pre-law helps) and ate some very nice Christmas Tree cookies. PS- dazzling the lawyers and everyone in sight (check). And my happiness of the night was watching Forest Gump. I've only seen it once before but I truly love that movie.

Yesterday was amazing. Had lunch with Avery at the Short Hills Mall where we catched up and were disappointed that they did not dance at Johnny Rockets anymore. We also tried on a billion sunglasses making sales people open cases for us. Then I got home, changed, taught tennis for two hours, saw Val, talked to Court and Emily Kwan and then worked out. Got home, got ready for Star and went to Star. I love Star when you go late and get yelled at by teachers for singing. I liked the music this year much better than last year. However, how I still remember all the words to the songs we sang I do not know. I love humba and peace peace. I loved seeing alumni and getting many phone calls from everyone demanding that I attend Star. It was awesome. Went to Starbucks and saw Miss Kwan, Jenny, Erin! and Courtney. Chatted, laughed and caught up a bit. Sadly I won't see Erin until May or so since I'm going away and then she's going away. I miss my Erin. I will see Jenny, Emily Kwan and Courtney again. I just have to work on the whole picking up the phone and calling them thing. I will also have to see everyone else in the world again before they leave.

As for now I shall wrap my mothers xmas presents and think about how I'm actually surviving without having any of my college friends in the next room. toodles

11:49AM

Well I'm back in New Jersey for winter break. It is sad indeed. Not that I don't want to see everyone here, but I'm missing everyone back at WAC so much. So many friends, memories, laughs and boys. The whole atmosphere is awesome. I think I wouldn't mind being home if it weren't for the fact that I'm going to be here for 5 weeks. Its seems ooooo long. I go back January 22nd.

Anyway, this saturday I'm leaving for England until New Years Eve. So when are you all coming back? Are you already back? I need to see everyone within the five weeks that I am here. Tonight I'm going to a family friend's Christmas Party but I need to see someone on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday.

So comment on when you are all coming back. And when you leave.

And also have a Happy Christmukkah!!!! I actually had a Christmukkah celebration with my friends in college on Thursday night. It was awesome.

10:40PM

So I'm back home tonight and as always I am slightly sick. I'm coming home because next week we have finals. I only have two but of course I want to do well in both of them. However, I don't have them until Wednesday morning and Thursday evening. So I thought it would be best to see Steve, play tennis, buy christmas gifts and study. I'm here till Tuesday morning... short visit surprise surpise.

However, I am missing classes tomorrow because of the snow storms hitting Jersey and Maryland tomorrow and my parents wouldn't pick me up otherwise, and I think they missed me. So I already took a quiz ahead of time but I have an essay due at 11:30 for my class... and so I've decided to wake up at 8 (ick I know) and write it and email her with a nice note saying "sorry I'm home for the last class but heres my essay happy holidays!" I hope the holiday thing will work well. But that means that this weekend I will have to buckle down and study and not socialize... thats why theres next week lol

6:09PM

Alrighty.

So consensus is that we need to see each other. Its been way too long people. So I'm thinking a lovely lovely time would be to see the movie Prime- yes no maybe so?

I'm seeing Jackie tomorrow but I don't know the details or times... and I have to see the following people Emily Kwan, Chiui, Jen, Lauren, Charity, Kat, Jackie, Marge, Shekida, Jill, Courtney and others that I can't remember now (I know I'm a horrible person)

anyway the movie Prime (Jake from One Tree Hill, Kill Bill actress~Uma and Meryl Strepp) tomorrow night people in summit? Its starting at 7:15 and 9:30. Saturday I don't know bowling? shopping? movie watching at someone's house? I figure the more time with you all the better because its been a while and we all have tons of stories about the past few months and I miss you guys like crazy now I'm home

oh and HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

5:27PM

So I was very upset over the fact that I couldn't see Harry Potter on opening night, but my friends made it up to me by seeing it with me on Saturday night. It was good, but they cut out a lot of stuff. My political science class was discussing this 5 minutes before and after the teacher came into the room. It was great.

Tomorrow I will be coming home. My mom and grandparents came up today and we are going to dinner soon. They wanted to see my college. Anyway the consensus is that people are coming home tomorrow and wednesday. So I figure Thursday is out, except I so want to see Kwan. Friday and/or Saturday night work for everyone? I'm thinking fun times in Summit or where ever. Just tell when.

11:28PM

Alrighty so a quick update. Last week I was sick basically for the whole week, I'm still sickly right now but hopefully my cough and stuffiness will go away soon. But it put a damper on my mood, I was slightly cranky and had tons of things to do. This week I also have stuff to do but I've plowed through many things quickly so I really just want it to be Turkey Day Break. I'm so excited my grandparents are flying to the state on Friday and are coming down with my mom on Monday night and we are leaving Tuesday afternoon! I'm so happy about that. I thought it was Thursday today but the weeks in college have been flying by so fast that I can't believe that first semester is almost over. Its crazy.

So when are you all coming home for Thanksgiving. As I said I'll be back by Tuesday night and I have to see all of you... so comment when you are coming home and we should plan something. I don't know specifics yet but if I am home on Friday and Saturday night heads will roll. And that is all.

PS- I talked to Emily Kwan a bunch of times this past week, Jackie and Courtney. I swear its made my life. So call me or whatever (as I realize we all do not have lives) or comment and I shall be off now to do work

2:34PM

Well this weekend was entertaining to say the least. A recruit, random friends, and going all over the place, and not getting in till 6 am but really 7 am because of the time change.

It was good. Friday night went to see a play which was good, but not as good as Kent Place productions. I'm actually kind of bummed about that I thought college was going to be better, but maybe I just liked seeing all of my very talented friends sing and act. Oh well. Then Amy and I went over to Cody's, who is a redneck friend of mine. He had two of his friends, John and Mike, staying over for the night. Now everyone has had someone come visit them, but me- how sad is that. I'm assuming that they all have people who are close to them which I don't so it does sadden me. Anyway, John was hitting on me and then we went to breakfast on Saturday morning and took care of Cody friday night. He is hilarious.

Saturday was a lot of fun. We did this mixed doubles team with a few good alumnus and most of the guys and girls on the tennis team. Shimmy, the polish tennis player, was my partner (i swear the gods are against me) we lost but we shouldn't have. But we played four matches two of which were very tough. I got to talk to everyone on the tennis team and enjoyed myself. Ronin made me a cheeseburger and put ketchup on it for me (sweet I know) and helped toast my buns, and Nick has Jordan hair so he wins. He really can't escape me from not touching his hair it is tre-perfect. We had a recruit, Carly, who I played over the summer and killed both times. Do you actually expect me to lose - god no. She stayed over and was messy and not cool... Kristen and I didn't like her. But we get paid 25 dollars for having the recruit spend the night with us which is awesome. But saturday night was a lot of fun, dressed up as a pirate. I wasn't really really excited for Halloween more just like getting dressed up one night.

Last night I was invited to go out to different places but because I was tired and had a sore and cut knee decided to stay in, chat to miss emily kwan which is still way overdue, and do some much needed homework. It was good. Tomorrow we don't have classes because it is advising day which I am excited for. I'm going out tonight with a bunch of people so we will be entertained.

PS= I met someone who knows Avery Winn and Hiliary Sayea- it is such a small world.
